Record Number of Long Term Care Providers Earn 2026 AHCA/NCAL Silver National Quality Award

The American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) has announced a record 255 recipients of the 2026 Silver – Achievement in Quality Award, marking the highest number of Silver Award recipients in the program’s 30-year history.

The Silver – Achievement in Quality Award is the second of three levels in AHCA/NCAL’s National Quality Award Program and recognizes long term care organizations that demonstrate measurable performance improvement, effective leadership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. Organizations earning the Silver Award have successfully implemented systematic approaches to improving outcomes for residents, staff, and their communities.

This year’s recipients include skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and combined providers across 43 states, showcasing the profession’s ongoing commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
