Emerging Leaders Program

The North Dakota Long Term Care Association (NDLTCA), in partnership with the University of Mary, is excited to introduce our new Emerging Leaders Program—an investment in the next generation of long term care leaders.

Finding and developing future leaders has never been more important. This nine-month leadership development program is designed to help organizations identify and prepare high-potential employees for leadership roles while strengthening employee engagement, retention, and succession planning.

Why Participate?

The Emerging Leaders Program will help participants:

  • Develop essential leadership and communication skills.
  • Gain a deeper understanding of the long term care profession.
  • Build confidence to lead teams and navigate challenges.
  • Network with peers from across North Dakota.
  • Prepare for future leadership opportunities within your organization.


Program Overview

  • Launch: Full-day Leadership Institute at the NDLTCA Fall Conference on Monday, September 21.
  • Monthly Learning: Interactive webinars led by experienced leaders and subject matter experts.
  • The webinars after this date will be the first Wednesday of each month from 12:30-2:00 p.m.

    • November 4
    • December 2
    • January 6
    • February 3
    • March 3
    • April 7
  • Graduation: Recognition ceremony at the NDLTCA Annual Convention in May 2027.


Investment

  • Program Fee: $1,000 per participant
  • Additional Cost: Registration for the NDLTCA Fall Conference and the Annual Convention is $200 just for Monday.

We encourage you to identify employees with leadership potential and reserve their spot early. With enrollment limited to just 40 participants, we expect the program to fill quickly. If you would like to enroll an employee in the program, please email it to Belma for the application form and return it to her no later than Wednesday, August 12. Enrollment is limited to 40 participants, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.
