NDLTCA Expands to Serve the Full Continuum of Long Term Care in North Dakota

The North Dakota Long Term Care Association (NDLTCA) today announced an expansion of its membership to include home care, home health, and hospice agencies, as well as qualified service providers serving individuals across North Dakota.

For almost 50years, NDLTCA has been the leading voice for the state’s nursing facilities, basic care, and assisted living providers. This expansion recognizes the growing need for collaboration across all care settings and strengthens the association’s ability to address shared challenges in workforce, regulation, and reimbursement.

“North Dakota’s system of care is strongest when all providers are connected and working together,” said Nikki Wegner, President of NDLTCA. “By welcoming providers across the full continuum of long term care—from home care to residential communities—we are building a united voice to better serve North Dakota residents and those who care for them.”

NDLTCA’s expanded membership reflects its continued commitment to advancing quality, access, and sustainability in long term care. The association will partner closely with home based provider leaders in the coming months to shape education, advocacy, and resources that reflect the diverse needs of North Dakota’s care community.

“As a home care provider, I see every day how essential care delivered at home is to individuals and families across North Dakota. I’m grateful for NDLTCA’s leadership in strengthening the full continuum of long term care by bringing providers together across settings, and I look forward to working collaboratively to support caregivers and advance sustainable, high-quality care for those we serve.”-Beveryly Unrath, Owner, Dakota Home Care

“This is an exciting evolution for NDLTCA,” added Wegner. “It strengthens our shared mission to ensure that every North Dakotan can receive compassionate, high-quality care—wherever they call home.”
