Earn Continuing Education Credits: This is a great opportunity to receive education when working with individuals with dementia. Enhance the quality of care with specialized sessions, led by Erin M. Bonitto, a nationally known dementia educator and dementia communication coach. The education is designed to equip you with practical skills and compassionate strategies to improve the lives of caregivers and individuals with dementia.

Objectives:

By attending this event, you will gain a better understanding of:

* How to Implement These Practices: Practical steps to integrate effective dementia care techniques.
* Understanding Dementia Behaviors: Insights into why individuals with dementia say and do the things they do.
* Communication Skills: Techniques to reduce anxiety and frustration for both caregivers and individuals with dementia.
* Innovative Approaches: Non-pharmacologic “behavior prevention” strategies to make life less stressful and safer.
* Minimizing Environmental Triggers: Methods to identify and reduce triggers that can cause distress.
