Must have a post-secondary nursing degree, and an unencumbered and current nursing license in the state of North Dakota. Five years of work experience in the Basic Care, Memory Care, or Assisted Living nursing field and two years of leadership experience preferred.

Required Skills:

Must possess strong leadership and management skills.
Must be efficient with Microsoft Office products, general computer skills, and slight to moderate working knowledge of software and hardware systems.

Must be knowledgeable in Federal, State, and general health care related regulations.

Must dress professionally, follow dress code, and maintain hospital standards of personal hygiene.
Conducts oneself in a professional matter.
Must be available a minimum of 40 hours per week with the understanding that more hours may be necessary to complete deadlines or during periods of "extenuating"; circumstances.
Be available as "on call" when not on the premises.
Maintain complete confidentiality at all times in all business and personal dealings with residents, family, staff, and general public.
Is responsible for the oversight, performance management, wage management, and general staffing for all Lakewood Landing employees.
Is responsible for holding staff meeting that foster team engagement, respectful participation, and a solution oriented approach.
Ongoing willingness to take on new duties and embraces change.
Is the primary contact for all information regarding residency at Lakewood Landing.
Is responsible for marketing and promote Lakewood Landing to the general public through speaking engagements, health fair participation, print materials, healthcare focused communities and/or gatherings, gatherings and/or locations where the targeted audience is present and general information available to public.
Is responsible for business relationship building across healthcare system and other like organizations.
Completes tours of the facility of potential residents and/or families.
Will plan marketing strategies and execute them after approval of Lakewood Landing Administrator or Company Manager.
Will coordinate, schedule and conduct assessment appointments with potential residents prior to moving into Lakewood Landing.
Is the primary contact person for potential residents or families of when considering residency at Lakewood Landing.
Will ensure all paperwork is filled out correctly by family and/or potential resident prior to moving in a timely manner.
Is responsible for service accuracy for all residents.
Prepares and delivers all information needed when requesting additional reimbursements from county social services.
Is responsible to oversee that all services and business practices are being conducted per Federal and State regulations.
Prepares and delivers all correspondence in regards to termination of services and/or residency within State regulations.
Is responsible for well-being and protection of every resident and all staff when using Lakewood Landing property, i.e.; all property of Lakewood Landing to be up to code and regulations according to State and Federal laws.
Is available to listen to, investigate, and assist residents with all suggestions and/or issues they may have.
Will give direction and oversight to nursing.
Will intervene and give assistance to residents, family, or staff when necessary.
Will contact the Lakewood Landing Administrator or Company Manager with concerns and/or questions when critical needs arise.
Is responsible for all nursing and caregiver staffing & day-to-day operations of Lakewood Landing.
Adheres to the facility operational budget.
Will follow directions and instructions given by the Lakewood Landing Administrator or Company Manager.
Will present ideas and suggestions to Lakewood Landing Administrator or Company Manager on all operations, financial or other.
Is responsible for emergency preparedness and all procedures related to the preparedness.
Is responsible for hazardous waste disposal.
Accepts all other delegated duties from the Lakewood Landing Administrator or Company Manager.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to push, pull, & lift greater than 50 lbs on a moderate basis.
Must be able to walk & stand for extended periods of time on a frequent basis.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time on a frequent basis.
Fine motor skills are required on a moderate basis.
